I have been taking private Pilates instruction with Rosaly Alexander for a little over a year. Prior to my personal sessions, I had only practiced mat Pilates at my gym. Rosaly has truly turned around my practice of Pilates. She showed me that I was never really engaging my core muscles, and that I just powered through my mat excercises. Working with her on the Pilates machines and mat has given me a deep appreciation for how I hold my body when I sit, walk, and stand.
